Hungarian democracy is alive and well!

Once again, Hungary hit the headlines in Central-Europe for many good reasons.
First, the phoney myth created by liberals that democracy in Hungary was demolished after Prime Minister Viktor Orbán formed government in 2010, has finally been destroyed. Despite the fact that the ruling Fidesz party secured an overall win in the local elections on Sunday, the opposition was able to bag a victory regarding our capital, providing a new Mayor, in the form of Gergely Karácsony. Interestingly enough, now that the pro-immigration and globalist political elite secured some power, the usual claim of electoral fraud was not articulated by the opposition.
Second, Hungary’s policies regarding the well being of Christians in the Middle East are becoming more and more recognised. According to our Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó, the protection of Middle Eastern Christian communities will be a key topic during the October 30th visit of Russian President Vladimir Putin. He also stressed that Hungary has also invited the leaders of the biggest Christian churches from the region to the forthcoming summit, where they will get an opportunity to brief Hungarian and Russian officials on their respective situations.
Last, on Thursday Hungary hosted the Central European Defence Cooperation’s international military exercise which aims at managing the migrant crisis. According to the local news wire MTI, the exercise was attended by some 500 military and law enforcement officers from Hungary, Austria, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia, Croatia and Poland. Bosnia-Herzegovina, Greece, North Macedonia, Montenegro, Romania and Serbia have delegated observers. The large scale exercise reflects well on Hungary’s strong stance regarding the rejection and management of mass migration.
