In his Friday morning interview on Kossuth Radio’s Good Morning, Hungary, PM Orbán talked about the European Parliamentary elections on May 26th.
„There is a liberal mafia in Europe that wants to convince poeple that migration is good and desirable. The Hungarian government however, along with its Polish and Italian allies, believes that migration shouldn’t be organized, but stopped. To do this, the leadership in Brussels must be changed.”
According the the Prime Minister, Europe is the home of Europeans, just as Hungary is the home of Hungarians. That is why the future leaders in Brussels must challenge the idea that migration is an inevitable phenomenon in our lives. The question is whether we will choose leaders who protect Europe or not.
„We should send a strong message that we want change. We want a Europe that protects its borders on land and sea.”
The big issue confronting voters, therefore, is whether they will cast their votes on pro-immigration candidates, or leaders who are opposed to it.
PM Orbán also spoke about his meeting with President Donald Trump. The meeting covered several topics including defense cooperation and international NATO missions.
„There are some countries including Israel, Hungary, Poland, Italy and the USA with leaders elected by the people, leaders who put their country first and do not promote the building of a world government.”
As he said, the relationship between the USA and Hungary is promising. The PM emphasized that the American government is well aware of the success of Hungarian anti-immigration policies.
„They look at us like the ones who successfully stopped migration at the southern border of Europe.”
